This top international School in Beijing, China is looking for a and experienced Upper School Mandarin Teacher to join them in August 2019. They offer a UK curriculum to over 1000 pupils between the ages of 3 and 18 years of age. Their A-level programme is globally accepted, with 75 students enrolled in the two-year programme during the 2018-19 academic year, 29 of whom are in the leaving class. Students from this school routinely secure places in top world universities, particularly in the United Kingdom and North America.
Situated on a brand-new, purpose-built campus with outstanding facilities, this is an amazing opportunity for the right person.
Applicants should have a BA degree in Teaching Chinese as Second Language / Education or equivalent plus Chinese Teacher Certificate. The ideal candidate will have had several years of experience in teaching Mandarin with some western curriculum experience in an international school. They are looking for someone with passion for teaching, a belief in the education of the ‘whole child’, high levels of professionalism and care for children. The right candidate will be able to work well with both native and non-native students and have a good working level of English.
